WHERE GOD PLACES HIS NAME
Many scriptures lead religious people to believe that God favors Israel, Jerusalem and the temple in Jerusalem as the place where he dwells. Other scriptures describe Israel as the Promised Land. When these scriptures are interpreted literally, Jews, Christians, and perhaps others

physical locations such as Israel and temples because he said Israelites were his chosen nation and he called Israel the Promised Land.

There is a subtle inference that  This belief ignores the truth that God’s presence is embodied in his character. That is why the Third Commandment exists.

The place where God’s presence/character/name exists is not a physical place. It is in the hearts of New Covenant disciples.
