TRUE DISCIPLES AND FAKE DISCIPLES
When we look at the definition of disciple, we see that a disciple is a learner or a pupil. Jews and Christians need to understand what kinds of disciples/learners they are: True disciples or fake disciples.

Here are some clues that will help readers understand which kind of disciple they are:

TRUE DISCIPLES FAKE DISCIPLES
  • Fake disciples do not understand Bible mysteries.
  • True disciples have humbled themselves about the truth that the religion they believed in and practiced is sin.
  • Fake disciples are selective about the scriptures they believe.
  • Fake disciples model their beliefs and behaviors after religious leaders and their teachings.
Fake disciples participate in commercial religion as either a buyer or seller of religious products or services or as both buyer and seller.

Jesus told his disciples to go make disciples of all nations and teach them to observe everything he told them to do. This was a command to teach and instruct fake disciples how to hear God’s spoken voice so that they would come out of religion and become true disciples.  Christians interpret this command wrongly. They think it means to go teach people who practice one kind of religion to change their religion and become Christians. Changing religions is not what God wants. He wants them to simply stop being religious and worship him in spirit and truth.

Changes in religious beliefs and habits happens all the time, but only five things change.

When someone changes religion, their heart does not change. Only God can change hearts. True disciples have had their hearts changed from evil and impure to clean and pure. True disciples understand that Jesus’ command is to go and make disciples with clean, pure hearts. And they understand that it is God’s word spoken through them that will change hearts.
