DOING JUSTICE FOR MARGINALIZED PEOPLE
  • Do not enact evil (unjust) statutes (legislation).
  • Do not record unjust decisions that deprive the needy of justice (fair treatment).
  • Do not rob the poor of their rights and plunder the orphans.
  • Execute justice for the orphan and the widow.
  • Deliver the one who has been robbed from the power of his oppressor.
  • Correct the devastation of the afflicted. Set him in the safety for which he longs.
  • Do justice.
  • Do not judge with evil motives.
  • Learn to do good; Seek justice, Reprove the ruthless, Defend the orphan, Plead for the widow.
  • Vindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute.
  • Judge righteously, and defend the rights of the afflicted and needy.
  • The righteous are concerned for the rights of the poor, The wicked does not understand such concern.
  • Plead the cause of the afflicted and needy.
  • Practice justice between yourself and your neighbor.
  • The exercise of justice is joy for the righteous, But is terror to the workers of iniquity.
  • Justice, and only justice, you shall pursue, that you may live and possess the land which the LORD your God is giving you.
  • Preserve justice and do righteousness, For My salvation is about to come And My righteousness to be revealed.
  • When people do not follow God’s laws, justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far away; truth has stumbled in the street, and uprightness cannot enter.
  • David (a political leader whose had God’s laws written on his heart) reigned over all Israel; and he administered justice and righteousness for all his people.
  • You gave no water to the weary and withheld food from the famished,
